Parent WorkshopDesigned for expectant parents and other caregivers of hearing children ages birth to 2 years. The workshop reviews the many benefits of signing and many of the most useful signs through games, songs, and entertaining and educational activities. This one-time fundamental 90 minute to 2 hour workshop teaches you everything you need to know to get started with the Baby Signs® program. Included with the workshop is the Parent Kit designed to make signing with your baby fun and easy. Participants will learn the following:

Even if you haven't been signing with your baby all along, the "Potty Training Made Easy with the Baby Signs® Program" kit is a complete potty training aid that is fun and easy to use. If your child is already older than age 2 and still in diapers... don't despair, join us to learn about the techniques that have made potty training a snap for many moms!

Parents and children will meet one time for 45 minutes. Parents will review the parent training materials with the instructor while the children will view the Potty Training CD and play nearby. Both will have a chance to practice the signs related to potty training.

Sign,
Say & Play®
is designed especially for parents and their babies
aged 6 - 36 months. These 45 minute sessions are more like a playgroup for signing babies and
their parents and consist of a series of six theme-based classes generally offered over a
6-week period.
A total of 37 useful signs are taught through fun songs, books, and activities. In addition, parents learn simple ways to support their baby's intellectual development-tips drawn from Drs. Acredolo and Goodwyn's second parenting book, Baby Minds: Brain Building Games Your Baby Will Love.

Students will meet for 45 minutes, usually once a week, for 6 weeks. The sessions will cover the following themes: meals, bed time, bath, getting dressed, pets, park.

In the More Sign, Say & Play® Classes, the second series of classes, 36 new signs are introduced. Designed for parents and children ages 6 months to 2 years, the class includes the MORE Sign, Say & Play® Kit. In addition, parents learn simple ways to support their baby's emotional development, tips drawn from Drs. Acredolo and Goodwyn's third parenting book, Baby Hearts: A Guide to Giving Your Child an Emotional Head Start.
We'll be talking and signing about feelings, things we find outside, safety, farm animals, visiting the zoo, our birthdays, and so much MORE! This is a great class for active toddlers!
